New Divisadero Collection of backpacks and messenger bags have been introduced by Minneapolis-based Acme Made, offering padded protection for laptops, cell phones and tablets, contoured shoulder straps for exceptional comfort and an accessory bag to keep cords organized.
All of the Divisadero products – built with heathered grey fabric and an exclusive low-profile organizational panel– feature hidden pockets, concealed zippers, reinforced nylon bottoms that are durable and water resistant and additionally, have sturdy aluminum hooks for secure closure to thwart thieves and pickpockets:
All three of the Acme Made Divisadero Lifestyle Bags will be available for purchase on November 1 on acmemade.com and amazon.com.
“Lifestyle bags are an extension of who you are, like a favorite pair of shoes or that perfect pair of jeans,” said Michael Noer, chief executive officer at Acme Made. “With Divisadero, our designers used years of experience to develop bags we think will appeal to everyone, while having a personal style all your own. They are truly authentic, simple and cool.”
Airtex’s northeast Minneapolis factory, historically a cut-and-sew shop for high-end linen draperies and other home products, added mask-making soon after COVID-19 struck.
Workers started crafting masks by hand, as they do other products at the plant. But to be competitive in the suddenly surging mask market, Airtex invested about $500,000 in new machinery to automate the process.
